Nine FIRST teams, from Lomax’s Jr. FLL team, to Oak Grove Middle School’s FLL team and several area FTC and FRC teams, filled the lobby of MOSI in Tampa Oct. 25, to kick off the 3rd Annual Florida STEM Summit, hosted by the Career Technical Education Foundation (CTEF). Students enjoyed meeting astronaut Leland Melvin, in the dark blue shirt in the middle, and FIRST president Jon Dudas , to his left, in the gray shirt, and joined by CTEF founder Paul Wahnish, all crowded in for this happy group shot. It was a great opportunity for students to share their achievements and love of FIRST with visiting educators and business leaders. More photos soon!
